It's hard not to like Paul Tracy -- at least, that is, if he isn't driving over or through you. source: postcrescent.com The longtime star of what was CART and is now the Champ Car World Series may not win very much any more, but he's still generally close to the front and almost always entertaining. While Sebastien Bourdais has turned the championship into a one-man show -- again -- Tracy has at least kept it interesting with his antics, on the track and off. Last month in San Jose, Calif., Tracy slid off course late in the race, spun his car around and shot back onto the track, directly in front of Alex Tagliani. The two crashed hard and Tagliani followed Tracy to pit lane, where they got into a brief physical confrontation. For that one, Tracy was docked seven points and placed on probation. Two weeks later, in Denver, Bourdais passed Tracy for second place on the final lap of the race. Tracy cut the final corner, trying to overtake the Frenchman. He lost control, slid into Bourdais and wrecked them both, costing Bourdais championship points the two-time defending series champion was counting on. This time, Bourdais walked across the still active track and the two engaged in a brief pushing match.
