IRL IndyCar teams have begun announcing their programs for the Indianapolis 500 this week source: paddocktalk.com - rumors But with the regular season entry list to expand from 20 to 33 cars for the event, there will be numerous opportunities for drivers with previous IRL IndyCar experience. Enter the names Ryan Briscoe, and Arie Luyendyk Jr. The Indianapolis Star is reporting that both drivers are working on scoring Indianapolis 500 drives in May. Though Briscoe is out of work - except the A1 finale in China - and missed out on racing with PKV's Champ Car team when the team chose veteran Oriol Servia, and Katherine Legge, Briscoe may return to the familiar ground of Target Chip Ganassi. At least, he'll reportedly be asking Chip is he might make room. Luyendyk Jr. is hoping to return, and survive bumping. The PaddockTalk Perspective: There are lots of possibilities getting to 33 rides. Stay tuned.
