Tagliani quickest of warm-up
Team Player's drivers Patrick Carpentier and Paul Tracy
completed their warm-up session this morning in preparation for this afternoon's
G.I. Joe's 200 at Portland International Raceway.
Tracy was second quickest posting his best lap time around the 3.169-kilometre
(1.969-mile) road course in 61.548 seconds for an average speed of 115.169 m/h.
As for Carpentier, he finished fourth with a lap time of 61.791 seconds,
averaging 114.716 m/h.
Fastest of the 19 drivers who will start in this afternoon's race was fellow
Canadian Alex Tagliani with a lap time of 61.395 seconds (115.456 m/h). The
green flag for this afternoon's race will be waved at 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time
(3:30 p.m. Eastern Time). Tracy will start from the pole while Carpentier will
