Review:
In general, the Mitsubishi Outlander ES is a very strong competitor with others in its class like the CR-V and RAV-4. It will appeal more to an audience that values "bang for your buck" value and function over looks.
I love the ease of folding the 2nds row seats with the pull of a lever as opposed to the 2 oddly located straps you must pull for the CR-V to do the same task. The clamshell design is awesome as well for ease of loading and unloading.
Drive and handling are enjoyable for the average consumer and the available technology for this vehicle made me drool. Pre-wired bluetooth handsfree (requires additional hardware package though for about $500 installed), optional 650-watt 9-speaker sound, built in tire pressure monitoring system, and very informative multi-information display (love the L/100km fuel consumption gauge that can help you become a more fuel-efficient driver).
The standard equipped manual-mode is a treat for average drivers looking for a bit more thrill over using the CVT transmission and for that extra control when passing on the highway.
The warranty also comes unmatched by other companies, and the price point for this vehicle is definitely very competitive against the other Japanese automaker offerings in this class.
The compromise made to get the attractive price point though, is in the interior materials. They look and feel a bit on the cheap side, but get the job done. As long as you value price and function over looks, then this vehicle is a must-see. If you value looks and interior styling and are willing to pay more money, than consider looking elsewhere.
For those needing more power, V6 is available for the LS and XLS models which have even more technology options. However, I would suggest against the available 3rd row seating as it's almost useless and most uncomfortable for anyone over about 3 feet tall.
I would also suggest getting an undercoating with a sound barrier to help reduce road noise in the cabin at higher speeds.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone who wants something different and less expensive than the CR-V and RAV-4 but still wants reliability and a fun to drive factor. The ES is definitely adequate for anyone who does mostly city driving without much need for towing capacity. The V6 models will satisfy the needs better of those who want better towing ability. But seriously, this is a compact SUV - get a real one if you need to tow that much. For hauling people and light stuff around town, this vehicle is amazing!

Review:

- Son espace cargo, qui est le plus généreux de sa catégorie à mon avis; - Bon rapport qualité, équipement, prix; - Systeme de traction qui se change sur demande (2RM, 4RM, 4RM Lock); - Sans être un Jeep Rubicon, il offre une capacité hors route, avec une des meilleures garde au sol (215 mm) dans la catégorie; - Look sportif; - Espace et confort des sièges arrière; - 2e banquette, qui offre deux places supplémentaires pour un court déplacement; - Système de son puissant (650watts); - Hayon à deux niveau, et qui se rabat à plat (tailgate) - Systeme main libre bluetooth, qui permet de téléphoner via commandes vocales; - Bonne maniablité du véhicule;
