Detroit, Michigan -- Finally, the sporting soul of Toyota's Californian design center has come to life. A group of seven stylists managed to design an awesome-looking, pure-bred sports car. The FT-HS Concept reportedly uses the company's famous V6 hybrid powertrain, which delivers 0-60 mph accelerations under 4 seconds while producing very few toxic emissions and offering high fuel economy. Quite a paradox, especially for a sports car! The lines show a very well controlled aggressiveness and an unequalled aerodynamic profile. The driver is wrapped in an innovative cockpit that features a multi-spoke, hubless steering wheel for enhanced visibility of the digital gauges. A retractable roof that doesn't affect the aerodynamics of the car brings a new level of excitement to open air driving. Will Toyota ever produce such a car? They certainly deserve so, because a street-legal FT-HS would restore their reputation as a manufacturer of attractive sporty cars, which they once were.
