Gary Paffett (Mercedes) was quickest in
at the end of the second day of the DTM collective test, Wednesday in Barcelona.
The Brit, who finished second to Bruno Spengler last year, ranked first ahead of Augusto Farfus’ BMW M3 with a margin of 0.028 second, and newcomer Timo Glock (BMW), who was third fastest, 0.066 second behind Paffett.
Canadian Bruno Spengler, who was scheduled to drive on the second day, was finally replaced by the BMW test driver, Maxime Martin.
