A BMW legend in the flesh

Last week I was in the presence of a real automotive legend. No, it wasn't a multiple-race champion; it wasn't a legendary Formula 1 winning car from the 1950s; it wasn't a modern marvel of technological advancement or even a leader in the automotive world. What it was, however, was a one-of-a-kind BMW M1; and not just any M1 (even though they're special enough as is), this one was painted by pop artist and icon Andy Warhol.

Ex-England cricket captain Michael Vaughan has today turned his hand to contemporary art by creating the world's biggest "artballing" painting - a 16 by five foot image of a Chevrolet Cruze car created by hitting and throwing paint-covered cricket balls against a blank canvas over 5,000 times.

MISSISSAUGA, ON, - Last night Infiniti Canada revealed the Infiniti G37 Anniversary Art Project Vehicle at the 14th Annual Canadian Art Gallery Hop Gala in Toronto. To commemorate Infiniti's 20th anniversary, Infiniti Canada partnered with Cirque du Soleil(R) to create a one-of-a-kind G37 Sport Coupe. Montreal artist Heidi Taillefer created the design and spent almost one month hand-painting the exterior of the vehicle.
