2009 Campagna T-Rex 1400R Review
Thursday, September 24, 2009
The T-Rex has been through a lot since our last encounter with it, which was back in the fall of 2007. The manufacturer, called T-Rex Vehicles, went bankrupt a few months later and closed its doors. But today that's all changed.

2010 Campagna Motors V13R Preview
Friday, July 17, 2009
The Campagna V13R is a curious-looking beetle. Actually, it looks like a spider with those twin sets of eyes. Others will compare it to a bulldog, although the analogy has already been claimed by Nissan for the 2009 cube!

Third time's the charm for Campagna Motors and T-Rex! (video)
Tuesday, July 14, 2009
Boucherville, Quebec -- You know the T-Rex, that striking three-wheeler created by Quebec's Daniel Campagna in the early 1990s? Well, it's now enjoying a new lease on life. To mark the occasion, newly-formed Campagna Motors brought together investors, suppliers and friends last Friday along with members of the T-Rex Club on Saturday and shouted to the world that their product is absolutely not on the endangered species list.

2008 T-Rex 1400R Road Test (video)
Tuesday, October 23, 2007
If you're a speed freak, here's tangible proof that you don't need a pricey exotic supercar to tattoo a smile on your face and draw attention. You see, the T-Rex is powered by a 1,352-cc, 16-valve Kawasaki inline-4. The engine gets air shoved down its throat by a roof-mounted air scoop, and develops 200 horsepower. Your initial reaction might be to say that it's not enough for hunting down Corvettes and 911s, but one important number needs to be known: the T-Rex weighs only 1,000 pounds, or 455 kg.

2007 T-Rex at the Vancouver Auto Show
Thursday, April 05, 2007
Half-car, half-motorcycle, the T-Rex still turns heads despite being designed over 15 years ago. For 2007, the T-Rex 1400R is powered by a 1.4-liter, 16-valve Kawasaki engine that develops 200 horsepower, and is mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox. With a curb weight of just 410 kilograms, it blasts from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and pulls 1.5 g of lateral acceleration.

2005 T-Rex on the track (video)
Tuesday, November 08, 2005
It's 7 a.m. on a chilly Saturday morning, as me and my work buddies arrive at John Scotti's Exotic Cars dealership in Montreal. This purveyor of supercars set up a lap day on the Sanair Raceway for their customers, and since they now sell the T-Rex, current owners of this featherweight beast were also invited. A dozen of them showed up, as well as owners of Lambos, Porsches and Lotus' that we drooled over.

Imagine blasting to 100 km/h from a standstill in only 4.2 seconds. We're talking about Corvette Z06, Dodge Viper and Porsche 911 Turbo performance. Yet none of these supercars can offer the exhilaration of such acceleration in an open-air cockpit.

The Murano is Nissan's mid-size SUV/crossover. It's too small for third-row seating but is otherwise spacious. In Canada, this polished performer is available only in an all-wheel-drive (AWD) format, which utilizes a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to connect smooth V6-produced power to all four wheels.
