Takuma Sato said no to making a return to formula one this year with the struggling new teams Campos or USF1. The Japanese, who contested nearly 100 grands prix until 2008, announced this week he will race in America's premier open wheeler Indycar series in 2010.

Jose Ramon Carabante has signed an agreement with another shareholder that bill bring him to the front line of Formula One as Carabante becomes the new majority shareholder and takes control of the Campos Meta 1, the Spanish Formula One team which will make its debut at the start of the 2010 season.

Dallara owner and boss Gian Paolo Dallara has confirmed the Italian constructor is pushing ahead with its F1 plans for 2010. The Parma based outfit, famous for its F3 chassis as well as for its involvement in the Indycar, GP2 and other junior series, was commissioned by the new Spanish entrant Campos to pen its 2010 car.
