Canadian Touring: Champions announce 2010 drivers

Defending championship winning team Lombardi Honda recently announced their drivers for the 2010 campaign. Nick Wittmer will continue to reprensent the team and will be joined by two new drivers, Alex Healy, from Ontario, and Quebecker Benjamin Distaulo.

Nick Wittmer became Sunday the first Quebecker to win the Super Touring championship of the Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship. The exploit is even more impressive - in some points - that he did so only with consistency as he did not win a single race this season - having been disqualified from the only one he was actually classified first at.

Brothers Nick and Kuno Wittmer from Montreal had a big week-end ahead of them on Saturday. They were both to take part in both Canadian Touring Car Championship and Speed World Challenge double-header in Mosport.

The Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship Presented by Toyo Tires was featured at the Ted Powell Memorial Race Weekend at Calabogie Motorsports Park on July 26-27, 2008. An impressive field challenged Calabogie's stadium configuration throughout the weekend.
