The Dukes of Hazard - General Lee
Tuesday, February 07, 2012
General Robert E. Lee was the man who led the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia during the American Civil War, but enough about him because by far the most famous General of that surname was the modified 60s Dodge Charger driven by Bo & Luke Duke in the hit television series, The Dukes of Hazzard (1979-1985).

2012 Dodge Durango Citadel Review
Tuesday, January 10, 2012
Generation three of Dodge's biggest family hauler, the Durango, is a real treat. Not only does it look more sophisticated and upscale than ever, but it offers up more power, content and capability than Durango models before it. It's an SUV that gets noticed and talked about by passers-by. It's big, handsome and powerful from a glance, and like most American SUVs these days, represents one of the best values in the segment.

Car and trucks expected to pass in 2012-2013
Wednesday, January 04, 2012
We love to speculate as much as the next guy sitting in some fancy office on Wall Street. The big difference is that we tend to have a better idea of what we are doing, plus our guesses won't have you living in the street or working at McDonald's to make ends meet during your retirement.

2012 Dodge Charger R/T Review
Tuesday, January 03, 2012
Sometimes we overlook or accept certain things because we want to. If I'm over at a friend's place and his cat's all over the dining room table, I'd think how unsavoury the situation is; however, should you ever come over to my house, you'll find both my hairballs on the table, one licking itself, the other one frantically scratching an itch. I love my putty tats and I don't care what they do.

2005-2011 Dodge Dakota / Ram Dakota Pre-Owned
Saturday, December 17, 2011
The Dodge Dakota was built to compete with the Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger and Nissan Frontier with a focus on aggressive styling and performance. With the only V8 engine in its segment, Dakota could be had in various body, powertrain and drivetrain configurations. Dodge is canning this machine after the 2011 model year to focus on other products. But it had a pretty good run.

2011 Dodge Durango Citadel Review
Tuesday, December 06, 2011
The 2011 Durango is a somewhat jumbo midsize SUV in Dodge's vastly improved lineup of late. The Durango is completely new for 2011, and highly impressive. In Canada, all Durangos are configured with all-wheel drive, while in the US, rear-wheel-drive is available.

2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 First Impressions
Monday, November 21, 2011
"What's the best car?" It's a daily question in my line of work - posed by family and acquaintances shopping new vehicles. "What can you spend? Do you tow a boat? Are you having kids? Do you need a backup camera gizmo?" Apparently, some folks think I know of some secret car that does everything perfectly, gets 83 miles per gallon, costs four bucks and washes itself.

2011 Dodge Charger R/T AWD Review (video)
Saturday, November 05, 2011
It seems that as of late I've been behind the wheels of some pretty manly vehicles. From the Porsche Boxster S Black Edition to the Chevy Camaro 2SS Convertible, the cars gracing my driveway have been testosterone packed. There's something about driving a vehicle that's perceived as masculine that makes a car that much more appealing (in my opinion). To some, it might spell "intimidation."

Dodge Durango Crew review - 2011 SUV comparison test
Saturday, September 24, 2011
The new Durango is the disappointment of the group. Having recently returned from a one-year absence where it gained a new body, a better and more efficient drivetrain as well as a totally revised interior, our expectations were very high. In fact, in a regular week-long test, we actually quite liked the Durango. In this comparative test, though, not so much.

A V8 before it's too late?
Saturday, September 24, 2011
I consider myself very lucky. Not only because I'm doing the job I've dreamt of before I sported pimples, but because right now, I have the opportunity to drive both mega-horse, combustion-engined sports and luxury cars as well as environmentally-friendly EVs. And I love both. But these two might not coexist for long.

2012 Dodge Charger First Impressions
Wednesday, September 07, 2011
CHELSEA, Michigan - The revised 2011 Charger, with its svelter, coke-bottle figure, retro taillights and vastly improved interior, was somewhat of a "tweener" - a vehicle that bridged the gap between the introductory model and the newly released 2012.

2011 Dodge Avenger SXT Review
Tuesday, July 12, 2011
This, as opposed to a plain commoner, of course. This review will not be very positive, I warn you now. I begin with this "statement" if you will, because I'm one to believe that everyone should be given a chance, an opportunity to prove themselves.

Dodge Nitro and Ram Dakota bite the dust for 2012
Saturday, July 02, 2011
It seems as though two models in Chrysler Canada's truck line-up will be discontinued after the 2011 model year. The demise of the Dodge Nitro compact SUV and the Ram Dakota mid-size pickup isn't much of a surprise, though.

2011 Dodge Journey R/T AWD Review
Monday, July 04, 2011
Besides the Ford Escape, no other compact SUV or crossover moves off dealer lots more frequently in 2011 than the Dodge Journey. Since its early 2008 launch as a 2009 model, it has offered decent interior space, lots of features and a very low base price.

Chelsea Proving Grounds, a Chrysler smorgasbord
Wednesday, June 29, 2011
I'm living la dolce vita behind the wheel of a cheery little red Fiat 500. The road winds through mixed forest, and I've got one eye peeled for wayward turkeys and deer. Once I've completed the route, I plan on exchanging the wee Fiat for a Charger SRT, menacing in black with understated Mopar decals.

2011 Dodge Grand Caravan Crew Review
Monday, August 01, 2011
The number of available minivans on our market isn't very substantial which makes for interesting rivalries. Yet, there seems to be two types of target customers for minivans which is, well, a little confusing given how few are still offered. Proof: The Chrysler group sells two minivans, the Dodge Grand Caravan we're testing this week and the more upscale Town & Country.

Dodge Caliber successor set for 2012 NAIAS debut
Monday, June 20, 2011
Chrysler Group products have been seriously improving and diversifying lately, the main result of which is a significantly higher level of interior quality. The all-new 200 represents an obvious upgrade over the obsolete Sebring while the Grand Cherokee impresses many with its fresh new design, but leftovers such as the Dodge Caliber remind us that the automaker still has ways to go.

2011 Dodge Durango Citadel Review
Thursday, June 09, 2011
And on that topic, big isn't really in anymore, at least not in SUV form. As I write this line, I smirk thinking that Chrysler was well aware of this years ago when they began designing the new Durango. Previously, the Durango was a full-size SUV built on a ladder-type frame. In 2011, the big badass Durango is a friendly-neighbourhood CUV with steel unibody construction...

2011 Dodge Avenger SXT Plus Review
Thursday, June 02, 2011
The latest-generation Dodge Avenger went on sale a few years back complete with an extra set of doors that, like the new Charger, effectively turned the once-coupe model into a new four-door. For 2011, Dodge is pushing forward with a Fiat-powered product update rampage that's restyled and newly equipped the Avenger into what the automaker promises is the best one yet. New looks, equipment, powertrain hardware, and interior trimmings are all on board.

2011 Dodge Grand Caravan Crew Review
Wednesday, June 01, 2011
Dodge's Grand Caravan has always been perceived as runner-up to Toyota's Sienna minivan and Honda's highly popular Odyssey. That somewhat unjust distinction will soon be trashed-or is that recycled-like yesterday's newspaper once soccer moms-and pops-become acquainted with the 2011 version of Dodge's mobile family plan.
