Wednesday, July 09, 2008
Forty years ago, the famous HEMI-powered Dodge Darts and Plymouth Barracudas shone on various drag strips across America. In an attempt to revive these legends, Chrysler LLC and its high-performance Mopar division decided to create a new variant of the 2009 Dodge Challenger exclusively aimed at winning drag races.

A peek inside Chrysler's new HEMI
Monday, April 14, 2008
The 2009 Ram is nearing launch, and a recent powertrain update sees its 5.7-liter HEMI V8 more powerful and efficient than ever before. Horsepower is rated at 380, a ten percent increase, while torque peaks at over 400 lb.-ft. It's also less thirsty than the outgoing model. Truly, it's probably never been more environmentally friendly to run a truck with enough torque to pull a tree out

2006 Dodge Charger SRT8 Road Test
Wednesday, November 29, 2006
There's no doubt about this car; 425 horsepower in a four-door sedan that holds 4 or 5 occupants is like lighting a cigarette with a flamethrower. It's like eating your soup with a shovel. It's like giving your pet a bath with a pressure washer. It's like cutting a piece of paper with a circular saw.

2005 Dodge Magnum RT AWD
Saturday, September 10, 2005
I don't remember much of my early childhood days. Maybe my brain isn't big enough, but it seems every time I learn something new, I forget something else. The other day when I finally learned how to program the VCR to record a TV show, I forgot how to use the microwave.

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Road Test (Video Clip)
Friday, February 11, 2005
The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of the most desirable vehicles on the road according to a survey that was done a few years ago in Quebec. This can easily be understood: when Jeep first introduced the Grand Cherokee in 1993, there was very few luxury SUVs available. There were even less that had the rugged good looks, the power and the off-road capabilities of the Jeep. In a very short period of time, the Grand Cherokee became a status symbol, the upper middle class mode of transportation by excellence. When people saw someone driving the Jeep, they would immediately assume that the driver was successful. Unfortunately for the owners, they had to take many trips to the dealer to get just about everything fixed at one point or another. Even though reliability issues were a constant, the Grand Cherokee remained a hot number. So much so, that it was actually one of the most stolen vehicles in Canada and the United States.

2005 Chrysler 300 Touring and 300C
Tuesday, November 23, 2004
The Chrysler 300 is significant on many levels. The first is Canadian pride. It is built in Ontario and was designed by a Montreal native. The second, it is selling like hot cakes - production has been increased to meet the high demand. The third is that people still want big powerful cars. It seems Daimler-Chrysler is really in tune with the desires of today's car buyer. We are on the edge of an energy crisis, some will even say that we are already knee deep in it, and yet car manufacturers are still producing incredibly mighty road warriors. That being said, the 300, already car of the year in some circles, does an outstanding job of combining luxury, refinement and style. It can be difficult to agree with the turn the automotive world has taken but I, as a car nut, find it even more difficult to dislike Chrysler's newest creation.

Gone is the dash-mounted flower vase in the latest version of Volkswagen's Bug. Gone too is much of its cutesiness, replaced by a notable degree of sportiness intended to broaden the Beetle's target market by attracting male attention.
