Are you a cold-blooded Canadian that gets excited at the thought of low-traction driving conditions? Do you have a pulse, testosterone in your veins, and love excitement? Would you rather rip donuts in the shopping mall parking lot after hours than actually shop there?

2011 Mitsubishi Lancer SE Review
Thursday, December 15, 2011
Living in a small town, I'll occasionally run into one of those lost characters of my youth; stuck-in-a-time-warp examples of arrested development in stone-washed denim and high top kicks. A black Soundgarden tee, edgy and youthful on a still-hip 27-year-old, looks faded and delusional two decades later.

2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR Review
Tuesday, November 22, 2011
I felt like a traitor all week. As my Java Black Pearl '04 Subaru WRX sat sadly in my driveway and I pulled away in the 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO GSR tester that was mine for the week, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt.

While participating in the 2011 Montreal Green Rally, Auto123.com's Marc-André Hallé and Olivier Delorme stumbled upon a pretty strange happening: the organizers chose to use a good old gas-powered generator to charge the Chevrolet Volt, Toyota Prius Plug-In and Mitsubishi i-MiEV.

2011 Mitsubishi RVR SE AWD Review
Monday, June 06, 2011
It is tough to say whether the RVR comes in two models or three. The official designations are SE and GT, but the SE is available in 2WD with a five-speed manual transmission, while the upper trim automatic is 4WD only as is the tricked-out GT. Mitsubishi was kind enough to send me an SE with 4WD. With trim levels as close as they are in the SE and GT, I know it was an SE because I had a regular key (or what passes for one these days) and not the passive, keep-it-in-your-pocket fob.

2011 Mitsubishi RVR GT 4WD Review

2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Review
Thursday, April 07, 2011
The 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart is a real impostor. It looks like a typical Lancer and retails for a cheap price - basically, an ordinary sports sedan. But once you step behind the wheel, watch out: this thing handles almost like an Evo.

2011 Mitsubishi RVR GT 4WD Review
Friday, March 18, 2011
I sometimes consider myself lucky to be an auto enthusiast. I say that because when the time comes to actually buy a car, I know so much about each and every one that I can make a decision based on my own opinion and experience.

2011 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS Review
Wednesday, March 02, 2011
I love compact SUV's. They offer space, function, utility and a look that is less intimidating than the large utility vehicles you see on the road. This segment is full of well known vehicles like the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-9, Chevy Equinox and Hyundai Sante Fe. When most people are cross-shopping, the Mitsubishi Outlander rarely comes to mind.

Ray's sunroof
Sunday, February 06, 2011
I hate sunroofs. Sure, those that know me will say: "Matt, every old dirtbox you've ever owned had a sunroof and rusted and leaked but that was because the cars were old". Perhaps. But I still despise sunroof be they made of metal, glass or cotton candy.

Honk if these two cars make you horn--I mean get you excited and conjure up scenes from the Safari or Monte Carlo rallies or any great rallying event from the late 90s and early 2000s. Yes, these two cars certainly are war machines from their respective manufacturers and both have created and sustained rival followings for the better part of the last two decades.
