A rain-burst causes NASCAR officials to postpone the second half of qualifying for the Canadian Tire Series to Sunday morning. In the U.S. based F2000 Championship Remy Audette won the 16-lap race after starting from the pole. In CCTCC, In the Super Touring Class, Montreal's Nick Wittmer took the checker flag. In F1600, Stefan Rzadzinski took the race over Shane Jantzi.
