2011 Toyota Venza AWD V6 Review
Sunday, September 04, 2011
Generally, large and sensible people movers don't exactly set my pulse racing, particularly when they're clad in "Refrigerator White" as my 2011 Toyota Venza AWD is. But there's something about the rakish roofline and 20" multi-spoke dubs that sets the Venza apart from its more generic brethren.

ARLINGTON, Va. - New test results show that some automakers are doing a good job of designing vehicle roofs that perform much better than current federal rollover standards require. The roofs on other vehicles need improvement. In the first Insurance Institute for Highway Safety roof strength tests of midsize SUVs, 6 earn the top rating of good for rollover protection, 1 is acceptable, and 5 others earn the second lowest rating of marginal.

2009 Toyota Venza Review
Thursday, July 02, 2009
Like a mixed breed mongrel that one might adopt from their local SPCA, the Venza isn't a pure-bread of any particular breed yet it makes a terrific family automobile, much like the beloved mongrel makes an outstanding family pet thanks to its combination of pleasing mixed-breed traits.

2009 Toyota Venza First Impressions (video)
Monday, November 03, 2008
Farmington, Pennsylvania - Toyota has made one thing sparklingly clear: the new Toyota Venza hitting dealerships this January is neither a crossover (they made it a point of honour to talk about it for over 90 minutes without once mentioning the word) nor a wagon. The exact term is impossible to coin, however, and the Japanese manufacturer would love to create a new type of vehicle.

On sale later this year is the all-new 5-passenger 2009 Toyota Venza. Just like the RX 350, the Venza can be had with an all-wheel-drive system and a 3.5-litre V6 capable of towing 3,500 lbs.
