A total of 20,598 Pontiac Vibe hatchbacks from 2003-2004 are being recalled due to a defect in the supplemental restraint system that could result in an inadvertent deployment of the front airbag(s) and/or seatbelt pretensioner(s).

Massive airbag recall affect 84,000 Nissan vehicles

The fourth and final Japanese automaker involved in a massive recall pertaining to the front passenger airbag has now announced the list of affected models, which amounts to 84,503 units.

Seeing the automotive industry's current condition, it was just a matter of time before some models were put to pasture.
