World Touring Car Championship promoter Marcello Lotti has confirmed that USA will host a race of the series in 2011.
After WTCC promoter considered Phoenix as a possible race track for hosting a round of the 2011 WTCC championship, Laguna Seca and Miami are now in discussions. Miami looks to be the best solution, considering that the cars could be transported from Mexico by the road. Discussions are also taking place for a Russian venue in 2011.
