BMW works driver, Briton Andy Priaulx looks set to graduate to the DTM series in 2012 with German car manufacturer BMW.
Priaulx, who captured the title of the World Touring Car Championship in 2007, looks to be directly linked to the
DTM program of BMW, as he explained on Eurosport’s website.
“My 2011 program will be announced on December, 4th in Munich. Nothing has been decided yet concerning the WTCC, but the future looks good concerning the DTM. It is potentially a very exciting program,” said Priaulx.

Priaulx will probably be heavily involved with the development of the BMW M3 DTM car, which will make its debuts in 2012. But it is not sure that he will have some time left to compete in the WTCC championship next year.
BMW will announce its plan for 2011 on Saturday. The German company could remain an official competitor in the WTCC, but could also take a step back and only provide technical support to its customer teams.
