Just as it has been the case in 2009, the new season of the popular international touring car series again comprises 10 races.
The races of the 2010 season will be held in four European and one Asian country. Traditionally, the season will be kicked off at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg. On 25th April, the German GP circuit will be the venue of the first battle for 2010 DTM championship points. A new asset to the DTM calendar is the race held at Valencia, Spain, on 23rd May. Another special highlight for the DTM enthusiasts represents the series' move to Asia. On 31st October, Shanghai will stage the 2010 season finale. Just as the 2004 DTM invitation race in Shanghai, this year's DTM round again will be held at a circuit specially built for this event in the heart of the Chinese metropolis.
