Canadian driver Bruno Spengler concluded a three-day test in Estoril, Portugal at the wheel of the C-Class DTM car of Mercedes-Benz.
Spengler shook down the new 2009 C-Class car designed again by Gerhard Ungar of HWA. "The bad weather really complicated the test session," Spengler told Auto123.com. "We were in Estoril when the big storm hit France, Spain and Portugal. The winds were incredibly strong. And the track kept alternating between dry and wet. It was just a succession of showers. These conditions really complicated our test program. For that reason, I cannot say anything about the car." Spengler is expected be one of the four Mercedes works drivers this season in DTM, although the German car manufacturer has yet to officially unveil the name the drivers. "I honestly have no idea who my teammates will be," Spengler concluded. Photos: René Fagnan - Auto123.com
