Canadian race car driver Robert Wickens is currently taking part in the Formula Renault 3.5 series’ collective test session held at Silverstone, Great Britain.
Wickens, who was this year’s-up in the GP3 series (with three wins), is preparing his 2011 campaign, and is getting to grips with the World Series Renault 3.5 liters car (425 horsepower) of team Fortec.
Russian driver Mikhail Aleshin captured the 2010 series’ title, one year after Bertrand Baguette, currently an IndyCar driver with Conquest Racing.
Grand Prix drivers Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull Racing) and Robert Kubica (Renault) also raced in the series in the past.
Antoine L'Estage and his codriver Alan Ockwell of the Yokohama Canada Rally Team won the 2014 edition of the Rallye Defi by winning every stage of the rally.
