The World Motor Sport Council of the FIA has released Wednesday in Paris the provisional race calendar for the 2011 Formula 1 season.
As wished by Bernie Ecclestone, the schedule has been boosted to 20 races, the most in F1 history. All races of 2010 appear on the new schedule, and we note the introduction of the Indian Grand Prix. The Grand Prix of Canada will be held in Montreal on June 12. The Turkish event will be staged earlier in the season while the final spot has been awarded to Brazil instead of Abu Dhabi. The four-week break has been maintained between Hungary and Belgium.
