Bruno Senna and Campos Meta 1 have confirmed widespread reports that the Brazilian will make his formula one debut with the new Spanish team in 2010. The Senna name is set to return to formula one 16 years after the death of famous Ayrton Senna. Mere hours after Campos confirmed one of its drivers for 2010, Bernie Ecclestone said that he would like to see the sacked Nelson Piquet get another chance in the wake of the crash-gate affair. Team chief executive Rodriguez de Castro precised the objective is not to be the first Spanish F1 team "but rather the first Iberian-American team". Adrian Sutil said in Abu Dhabi that he would be happy to stay at Force India for another season, but has been mentioned with Renault, Toyota and even the plum second McLaren seat."You may never know if good packages turn out for me then certainly I will look out for it. Options are wide open," Sutil said in Abu Dhabi. Tellingly, Giancarlo Fisichella seems suddenly interested in re-joining the Silverstone based team in 2010 alongside his Ferrari reserve duties, answering reporters "why not?" when asked about the Force India link. Swiss rookie Sebastien Buemi, meanwhile, has been the most impressive driver at Toro Rosso this year, but he clarified that he has not yet signed any documentation relevant to the 2010 season. Nick Heidfeld has emerged as the leading candidate to become Lewis Hamilton's McLaren teammate in 2010, after Kimi Raikkonen and Jenson Button were also touted for the seat. Retaining his services would fully appease Mercedes' desire for German drivers, with Nico Rosberg expected to go to Brawn in 2010 with the carmaker's blessing.
