Formula 1 journalist James Allen posted on YouTube footage of Bruno Senna driving a two-seater Formula 1 car on the new Abu Dhabi Grand Prix circuit where the final round of the World Championship will be held next month.
The on-board video shows how flat the circuit is (which is normal, since it is laid out in the harbour). The pit exit is quite unusual, very narrow and going downhill before going uphill again. What will happen if a car gets stuck in such as narrow pit lane? Most of the corners are relatively slow of a Formula 1 car. Passing will not be easy, as there are just two straightaways where the cars will be able to build up some speed. There's not a lot of run-off area in the latter part of the lap, but the series of similar, sharp, short-radius corners is not extremely inspiring.
