Canadian race car driver, Nicholas Latifi will make his GP2 series’ debut this weekend at the Yas Marina circuit of Abu Dhabi.
Latifi will replace Daniel Abt at the Hilmer team, as the young German is already scheduled to drive in the Formula E race in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The 19-year-old Latifi ranked 10th in this year’s Formula 3 European Championship with one podium finish. He also contested three rounds of the World Series by Renault Formula 3.5 series with Tech 1. Last weekend, he took fifth in the Macau Formula 3 Grand Prix for SJM Theodore Racing by Prema from ninth on the grid. Recent Articles
