With Christmas coming up, IndyCar drivers
Alex Tagliani, Justin Wilson and Ed Carpenter visited their young fans at the Riley Children Hospital this week, in Indianapolis.
Child sickness is never easy and Christmas time is often the moment of the year where athletes try to give back to those parents and children who fight against illness. The Montreal Canadiens visit Ste-Justine Hospital every December month.
It was the turn of Tagliani, Wilson and Carpenter to give back, in Indiana. The three stars of racing brought hats, collectible cards and hot wheel cars as well as IRL Calendars to the children and their families.
They met the kids in group and individually. Many autographs were signed but it is the smiles that will be remembered. Both children and parents are always very grateful for a moment of happiness that give them a break from illness.
