The 2008 champions of the Coupe de Montréal karting championship were crowned last Friday in Brossard on the South shore of Montréal. Seven new champions were crowned because only Jesse Lazare successfully defended his 2007 title won in the Rotax Mini-Max class. Top five drivers in each class got a nice trophy and a purse that reached $13,500.00.
