After having won the first two races of the season
at Daytona and Fontana, Matt Kenseth could have a shot at the record books as he will try to become the first ever driver to win the three first races of the calendar.
Kenseth is optimistic about the outcome, having won twice in Las Vegas (2003-04) and finishing second in 2006 and fourth in 2007.
"I feel like our stuff has been really competitive at those types of racetracks," Kenseth said. "Our cars have been good, and our pit crew has been right on the money. You never know what might happen in a race, but I feel we'll be competitive this weekend."
