Former NASCAR Canadian Tire series champion
Andrew Ranger could be present in Daytona for the Nationwide series' season opener as his former team Fitz Motorsports has been bought in part by Art Shelton and will now be known as Trail Motorsports.
The newly formed team will have cars in Nationwide, in the Camping World Truck series and in the NASCAR-East championship.
According to Ranger's manager, Alan Labrosse, no discussions have taken place yet and most teams are still waiting on pilots who have big sponsors backing. But as time goes by, teams will find it more and more difficult to find those and they will have to rely on young talented drivers like Ranger.
