Lowe's Motor Speedway President Marcus Smith says he would be thrilled to host the traditional end of year banquet.
It is believed that Las Vegas would be more accessible to fans than New York has ever been, knowing Vegas has a lot more of affordable infrastructures to lodge the crowd waiting to see their favourite drivers. Las Vegas also has large arenas that could contain 12,000 to 15,000 people to add some sort of "a fan element at the banquet." NASCAR officials said last week that moving the Award Ceremonies to Las Vegas, although not finalized yet, would be "a very interesting option." The Award Ceremony in New York and the exposition of the winner car in Time Square has been a NASCAR tradition for a number of year. Recent Articles
