Alan Labrosse, the well-known owner of the St-Eustache Speedway near Montreal and manager of several drivers, has almost confirmed that the season opener of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series will be held on his circuit on May the 23rd.
However, NASCAR has yet to publish the official 2009 calendar. Labrosse is also trying to get a second race on his oval, which would bring the total number of rounds of the Canadian stock-car series run in Quebec to four. With the exception of St-Eustache, races are held at the Trois-Rivieres Grand Prix and the Nationwide NAPA 200 in Montreal (two road courses). Photos: Philippe Champoux - Auto123.com
