Toyota F1 driver Timo Glock set today the fastest time in Day 2 of the private F1 test session in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
Rain persisted during the entire day, and the temperatures were cool. Teams ran in full wet set-up and collected data in slippery conditions, testing the new rain tires. The drivers realised that the because of the reduced downforce, the cars' behaviour in wet conditions was quite different to last year's car. There is now less grip, which makes the car slide more. Other teams also tested the KERS in the wet. Timo Glock set the fastest time, followed by Robert Kubica (BMW) and Nico Rosberg (Williams).
