Formula 1 winter testing resumed today on two different circuits, in Jerez, Spain and in Sakhir, Bahrein. On both tracks weather played a role and limited mileage.
Timo Glock topped the times on a fog-hit first day of testing at Sakhir in Bahrain on Tuesday, with little to separate the runners on the timesheets. After a brief morning delay when the circuit was shrouded in fog, the local climate came into its own with a day of warm sunny weather. Toro Rosso with Sébastien Buemi is still using the 2008 car. However, poor weather conditions meant the track was damp for much of the day, which limited the teams' progress.
