A NASCAR team spokesman has played down reports linking the American driver Kyle Busch with a move in 2011 to the new formula one outfit USF1. USF1 sporting director Peter Windsor revealed last week that he has already met with the 24-year-old's business team, and that Busch should watch USF1's progress in 2010 before later making a decision about whether to switch codes. Busch is under lucrative contract to Joe Gibbs Racing until the end of next year, and a team spokesman said of the USF1 speculation: "There's nothing to it. "What was said (in Las Vegas) is all that needs to be said," the spokesman is quoted as saying by Autoweek. The Las Vegas reference is to comments Busch made about USF1 earlier this year. "It's definitely something I wouldn't shoot down," he said. "If I could win a championship in the next two or three years I wouldn't mind doing (F1) for a few years."
