With only one race to go in the Rally America Championship, Quebec driver Antoine L’Estage and codriver Nathalie Richard lead the championship by 13 points.
Another victory in Pennsylvania this past weekend added to their already existent four podiums in as many races. This allowed the couple to increase their lead both in the series championship and in the disputed North-American Cup. Victory didn’t come easy though. Oil problems caused serious headaches to the drivers who even had to seek the help of rivals Bill Bacon and Pat Moro in between the first specials to fix their car. Fortunately, a third place finish on day 1 was to become a win on day 2 when the objective of catching up on their closest championship rivals became leading and winning the race on board of the Mitsubishi Évo 10. The next and final round of this 2010 season will be run in the states of Maine and New Hampshire mid-July.
