Former Ferrari F1 driver Kimi Raikkonen won his first rally ever, the Rallye Vosgien, an event he competed in to prepare himself for the tarmac roads of the Rallye de France.
As the Citroen Junior Team could not test before Rallye de France, the Finn took part to the event, which is held on similar roads, and in the same area.
The former Formula 1 World Champion, behind the wheel of his Citroen C4 WRC, won the Rallye Vosgien by more than three minutes from local driver Quentin Gilbert (Renault Clio Maxi) at the end of the six special stages.
Antoine L'Estage and his codriver Alan Ockwell of the Yokohama Canada Rally Team won the 2014 edition of the Rallye Defi by winning every stage of the rally.
