Kubica was driving a Clio S1600 and was taking part in a round of the FIA European Rally Championship.
A month ago in Italy, he took his first class victory in the Rally d'Alipi Orientali.
In Antibes, Kubica and his co-driver Jakub Gerber finished 3rd overall, only 2min35.3 down to the winners, Luca Betti and Guido D’Amore in a Peugeot 207 S2000.
The highly talented Pole finished ahead of many faster S2000 cars in his less powerful Renault and topped the times in three separate stages, winning the Group A, class 6 category outright.
