The Brazil World Rally Team will run a private Mini Countryman this season, driven by Daniel Oliveira.
Oliveira, and co-driver Carlos Magalhaes, will race ten WRC events in 2011, and will make their debuts in Rally Portugal in March, before the first WRC appearance of the Prodrive Mini Countryman in Rally Sardegna, in May.
Moreover, contrary to the official Mini, the Mini at the Brazil World Rally Team will start its season with 1.6 turbo S2000 specifications. It will probably move to WRC version thereafter.
Antoine L'Estage and his codriver Alan Ockwell of the Yokohama Canada Rally Team won the 2014 edition of the Rallye Defi by winning every stage of the rally.
