Petter Solberg (Citroen C4) dominated day 1 in Mexico. The Norwegian driver now leads the rally, ahead of Sébastien Ogier (Citroen C4). Raikkonen (Citroen C4) crashed out.
Both drivers collected stages victories on Friday, as Ogier clinched two best performances and Solberg, who was already quickest in the shakedown on Thursday, won six stages. Solberg leads in overall classification, 15 seconds ahead of Ogier. Both official Citroen C4 took position 3 and 4, Sébastien Loeb standing ahead of team mate Dani Sordo. They are followed by both official Ford Focus of Jari-Matti Latvala and Mikko Hirvonen. Kimi Raikkonen (Citroen C4) crashed heavily at the end of SS7, when his car rolled six times.
