The Citroen DS3 R3, that will make its debuts in WRC next year in replacement of the C4, clinched its second class victory in its two first races : the Ulster Rally and the Rallye Mont Blanc Morzine.
Bryan Bouffier and co-driver Xavier Panseri made the DS3’s race debuts at the Ulster Rally, in August 20th and 21st. Both men took 5th position overall, and clinched class victory in R Group. Last week-end, reigning IRC champion Kris Meeke was at the wheel of the Citroen DS3 R3 beside Paul Nagle at the Rallye Mont-Blanc Morzine, 5th round of the French championship. The british driver, who currently drives a Peugeot 207 S2000 in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge, took 11th position, and get victory in the “two-wheel drive” category.
