Frequently Asked Questions
Extra fees to pay following a recall
Following a recall, I had my rear control arms replaced which was under warranty, but I had to pay for the alignment. Should I have to pay for this?
Answer from Auto123.com
In theory, when additional repairs are required after the replacement of a part that is under warranty, the manufacturer should cover the costs. The flip side is that an alignment is recommended by the manufacturer on a regular basis. If is was never aligned, the argument will be difficult to support.
