Studded tires
I am against the use of studded tires (nails) because they cause windshield breakage, have a faulty grip, and are even dangerous on clear roadways. What do you think?

We agree with you for the adherence of studded tires on dry surfaces. However, the vast majority of new cars are equipped with traction control systems and thus are not as susceptible to loss of control than older cars. We believe that those who buy studded tires seek an optimal level of grip on snow and ice and do not regularly drive in urban areas.
