2002 Mazda Millenia S Road Test

It's true. After eight years the upscale quality Mazda Millenia is being discontinued. I suppose it was inevitable. After all, it was never designed to be a Mazda at all. The Millenia was created with the intent of going head to head with Lexus and Infiniti as an Amati, Mazda's aborted premium brand. It makes sense that they wouldn't want to spend the money creating its costly replacement if it was only able to sell 19,849 of them in 2001?
