2003 Alfa Romeo Kamal Concept

Alfa has never produced a sport utility vehicle before. What's pushing them to make one? Right now, it's either peer pressure from rival manufacturers or just good old fashioned greed. After all if performance-car-only brands like Porsche and Maserati can do it, what's limiting Alfa from jumping on the bandwagon?
