To be honest, this one caught me off guard. You see, I've been expecting Ford to introduce a completely revised second-generation Focus for a while now. After all, there were several clues which I'd taken as a good indication something completely new was on the way, namely the introduction of the worldwide global C1 compact platform that is the basis for Volvo's upcoming S40/V50 and the new Mazda3 that's already in showrooms, plus the addition of the European Focus C-Max.
