Suzuki, though a well-established Japanese carmaker, has a big image problem. Products like the Swift and the Sidekick, while reliable and simple, are also dull and utilitarian.To make matters worse, over the past two decades, its designs have been rebranded by General Motors, and as of late, it has been reduced to selling rebadged GMDAT products, like the Forenza and the Verona. It's not exactly the ideal position for any carmaker to be in, in the 21st century.
