Funny thing: When I first got my hands on the latest generation Honda Civic Si Coupe, I was so impressed that I pretty much disregarded all the other variations of the then-new car. This, I recently learned, was a grave error because the "base" Civic Coupe is an incredibly worthy car for many of the same reasons.
