Audi's revised 2009 A4 Avant debuts in New York
The North American debut of Audi's new 2009 A4 sedan has taken place at this year's New York International Auto Show, the folks in Germany say. The show is held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City and opens to the public tomorrow. The new sedan features a larger body housing numerous revisions to make it sportier, more refined and more rewarding to own than the outgoing model. The most significant change is to the mounting of the powertrain, which now sits farther back in the vehicle's structure to enable more responsive handling. It looks sportier too, with reduced overhangs, sleeker lines and an LED-accented set of Xenon headlamps.
