Chevy SSR is Official Indy 500 Pace Car

Chevrolet's upcoming 2003 Chevy SSR has been confirmed as the 2003 Indy 500 official pace vehicle. Following a long bow tie tradition, the Super Sport Roadster will be the 14th Chevy to be honored with pace vehicle status, marking the most appearances at the competition by any brand since the advent of pace cars in 1911.
