Amidst all the hustle and bustle that accompanies the ramp-up to this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, Alfa has surprised the motoring media industry by choosing to unveil a drop top version of its 8C Competizione concept car at this year's upcoming Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The reason why the car will be shown in California in a few weeks, rather than Germany in mid-September is because the Italian manufacturer was invited to be the featured marque at this year's event.
